I paint to discover a kind of peace and calm in each piece, knowing that it will bring a certain presence to an interior. Unlike a room or interior that is orchestrated and planned - my art is more fluid and unplanned, I like the unexpected nuances that pigments, brush strokes and surfaces form when they come together. Often this is what orchestrates an interior room to come together.
